aptists are one of the largest Protestant Denominations in the World. There are now over 36 million committed members of Baptist Churches in 140 countries, and over 15,000 in Victoria alone.
Baptists base their beliefs on the whole Bible. They grew out of the Reformation and in many parts of the World are still growing fast as, for example, in the United States and in many countries in Eastern Europe. They are the largest in USA, USSR, India, Burma and Brazil.
