Paya Lebar Chinese Methodist Church was founded in 1939 with the commission to spread the Gospel to the residents in Hougang. Presently, PLCMC is still obeying that call. Today, PLCMC hosts a total of 7 congregations - Hokkien, Mandarin, English Contemporary, English Liturgical, Bilingual, Teochew and Methodist Mission. With our multilingual congregations - Hokkien, Mandarin Teochew and English, we have the potential to share Jesus Christ with the new residents who have moved into the Hougang area over the past few years. With God's help and the Spirit's empowering, we can fulfil the call of the Great Commission.
